The Vice President awards Sibina 29/07/2009
This year Sibina Koumbarou, a student from the Bulgarin
school in Nicosia, was awarded again in the literary contest
"Stefan Gechev". Her essay received second place. She
received her award on the 29th of July in Sofia during a
celebration by the vice president of Bulgaria Angel Marin.

Easter Celebrations 16/04/2009
Students from the Bulgarian school in Nicosia painted eggs
in the school's workshop. Although they are far from
Bulgaria, they need their motherland's traditions and
culture. The school's workshop is part of the "Bulgaria
unites us" project and its main purpose is to strengthen
children's Bulgarian identity. Children are taught to
appreciate our cultural heritage - celebrations, customs and
traditions, values.
